He was more than an Uncle to me, he was a friend. I spoke to him (usually) once a week, he was very easy to talk to and very much like my Mum in personality. Between us we tried very hard to unite the family when people fell out, this is a very timely reminder of how short and precious life can be. He had a corny sense of humour and we delighted in laughing together about so many things, a big bit of my sense of humour is now missing with him!
